Everyone's life from birth to death they deal with some projects. Projects are nothing but innovative plans that we have to execute in a successful manner. Which means ideas into products.
Students pursuing a UG or PG degree in engineering must complete a project as part of their grade and placement. From the first year to the last year of engineering, they just learned all of those things in a theoretical way, and they didn't even learn a simple notion in a practical approach. As a result, they didn't have any practice exposure. So I want to provide some project selection guidance to final-year and pre-final-year students. Why because the majority of the students are unsure that how to select the best one.
Let's get started, shall we? I have offered some useful tips for project selection.
Generally, we can split the project domain like as
1. Hardware project
2. Software project
In the Biomedical engineering field, the different domains are 1. Bio instrumentation 2. Image processing 3. Biomechanics 4. Prosthetics 5. Biomaterials Steps to be taken : Area of interest:
The first step in the project selection process is to determine your area of interest. You must first understand your abilities and knowledge before deciding on a domain. Only then will you be able to survive and come up with innovative approaches? Furthermore, the project's implementation is straightforward. Read research articles: Once you identified your area of interest then collect the recent research paper on the particular domain. Reading that research paper will give you some innovative ideas. Mentor and team members selection:
It's crucial to pick up the right guide and team members. Choose a mentor who is an expert in a particular domain. You should consult with your mentor once you've determined the problem statement. If you have any suggestions, will meet with them on a regular basis. You can surely acquire the solution if you choose the right mentor and team members. Which is the most suitable option? The majority of students chose bio-instrumentation, because there is no software operation, although that is absolutely wrong. Arduino, Embedded, Python, and C++ are all used in projects. Yes, the software is an essential thing for the execution of the project.
If you are not interested in software, biomechanics, and prosthetics is the better option for you. If you are not interested in both hardware and software biomaterials is the best option for you. Biomaterials it's only come under the research field. If you are well good at software but not at hardware means image processing is the best option for you
What is the smartest strategy to finish a pre-final year and Final year project? Once you have chosen a problem statement, From the third year onwards, you just take a little portion of it and complete it as a mini project in the third year, before implementing the project in the final year. It is a highly intelligent technique to complete your both pre-final year and Final year project.
Thank You
